I bought my first hunting license in 1948 and took a 120 pound doe that year.  I started bow hunting in 1963 with a recurve.  I received my Maine State Guide’s license in 1956.  I started trapping with my grandfather in 1946.  I still hold my guide’s license and have worked several sporting camps in Maine.  I ran trap line for fox, fisher, martin, coyote, and bear.  I hold my firearm and archery safety instructor license as well. 

I started archery hunting with a 25 pound lemon wood recurve.  I started with a compound in 1975 and have been successful hunting deer, turkey, “Coon”, red fox, and ground hog.
